It all started when...

Originally from Newburgh NY, Nicholas attended cosmetology while still in high school. The day after graduation he moved down to Brooklyn before it was cool and started working in the industry with his older sister (also a hairstylist) in Manhattan. Flash forward 19 yrs behind the chair, he has taken countless advanced education classes and has been a head educator for many years. Nicholas has trained hundreds of assitants to full fledge hairstylists and has trained stylists into expert educators. Nicholas has stepped into the next level of his career with co-creating Suite 8 NYC. As a stylist he strives to be a true craftsman, taking his time to create a handcrafted look for each client. 

Nicholas is inspired by photography and world cuisine. He is a secret gourmet chef wooing his colleagues and friends with his wonderful cooking. He has developed, along with his wife Laurie, a love for travel- especially Paris, where he would love to live part time one day.
